We’re all of a flutter and hope that you’ll come and celebrate Love Week with us this half term! We’ve got animal rescue stories to warm your heart, plus the daily Keeper talks will focus on love, love, love, in its many forms. You’ll hear about romances, bromances, monkeys who’ve found lasting happiness with another animal… or in Djimmy’s case with his squeaky toy pig.
We’ll be serving up Love Shakes in the Tea Room and offering special deals that will appeal to anyone who loves monkeys and owls (surely that’s everyone?).
Plus give a Valentine’s Day gift with a difference, and book NOW for a Keeper for the Day experience for you and a loved one. Flowers and chocolates are all very well, but this will give you an incredible day to remember!
The love-in starts on Valentine’s Day, on Thursday 14 February, and continues until Sunday 24th February.
Also, if you’re planning on popping the question any time soon, then bear our animal sanctuary in mind – and tip us off if you want us to be on standby with balloons and cake (and our fingers crossed)! Love struck Londoners Duane Farrar and Jodie Willson, who are pictured above, got engaged during a Squirrel Monkey Encounter with us. Romantic Duane got down on one knee – and once Jodie saw that he wasn’t monkeying around, she said YES! The bride-to-be said: “It was an amazing day”. Ahhhh…. we love a happy ending!
