TEA ROOM ASSISTANT
Monkey Haven is an award winning sanctuary and registered charity that is home to a large number of rescued monkeys, owls and a small selection of reptiles. We are one of the Isle of Wight’s highest rated and fastest developing attractions, now we need enthusiastic and vibrant individuals to join us this season as Tea Room Assistants!
Our team is made up of friendly, bubbly individuals, who all work together to create a fantastic working environment for all staff. Due to the height of the season being just around the corner, we now need new individuals to become a part of our busy Tea Room, named after one of the most popular monkeys in the park, Xhabu.
Over the season we experience a large number of guests visiting the park, including the tea room and gift shop. Therefore, we need you to be able to maintain the high level of customer service and continue to go above and beyond to deliver the very best, unforgettable experience to all visitors.
Although this role is heavily focused on customer service and working front of house in the Tea Room, you will also be required to prepare light bites including sandwiches and cooked snacks therefore, a good understanding of basic food prep is essential.

At Monkey Haven we understand the importance of a strong working team that has a family orientated feel. Because of this, we like to hold a number of brilliant team events to get everyone together outside of work to kick back and have a bit of fun.
This position is full time, working 40hours, five days out of seven on a rota basis. You will also be required to work weekends, and due to the nature of the business, availability on bank holidays is vital too!
