We’re sooo excited to reveal that we’ll be opening at 10am on Saturday 10th February after our little winter break. We’ll be staying open every day from then on, throughout the spring, summer and autumn! We’ve been hard at work getting everything ready for our visitors, cleaning, powerhosing, redecorating, you name it. We’ve also been building a swanky new home for our reptiles, which will open up later in the spring with all kinds of new insects being added into the mix.

At half term, we’ve got loads going on:

We’re delighted to welcome the Isle of Wight Bat Hospital on Sunday 11th February. This organisation rescues and cares for bats across the Island. Find out more & get up close to these fascinating creatures.

It’s Tonka’s birthday on Monday 12th February – hip hip hooray! He’s the black furry fella pictured above with his orange pal, Wheat. All visitors are cordially invited to join us at noon for cake, present opening, and a birthday singsong. Plus, if you buy Tonka a birthday pressie from our Amazon Wish List, then you’ll get a free hot drink from our tea room. Please show us email proof or bring the gift with you.

Join us for Valentine’s Day on Wednesday 14th February, when our very own Queen of Hearts will be giving out cupcakes to all our visitors. You’ll fall head over heels with our rescued monkeys

We will also be running a competition to win a family ticket to Monkey Haven – we’re asking for your help naming two new baby Marmosets born at the Haven just before Christmas. Check our Facebook page around Friday 16th Feb.

The Keepers and all the gorgeous animals look forward to seeing you soon!
